Corbyn – Class of 2019

With God all things are possible! Matthew 10:26

What can I tell you about Corbyn?  Corbyn is such a great kid, he is absolutely gorgeous and has a heart of gold.  His favorite girl is his baby niece and he just lights up around her.  He brought her along for his session as well as this amazing red car!  Corbyn is very active in school.  He plays baseball, golf and is on the drumline.

One thing I didn’t know about Corbyn is that he is a natural in front of the camera!!  I have had more people tell me he should be a model!  Corbyn has other plans for his future and I wish him all the luck this year!!  Oh the places he will go!!

Dalton and Gissel Class of 2019

Dalton and Gissel are both 2019 seniors, they are such a sweet couple of kids.  Even though it wasn’t a very nice day weather wise, we made the most of it.  Nobody tells you how hard it is to wrangle those big number balloons in the wind.  But we were able to hold them down long enough to get a few shots with them.

Gissel is just as beautiful as her name.  She has the most beautiful brown eyes!!  Dalton is my first guy of the season and he was great, such a handsome young man!  I enjoyed photographing this couple so much!!  Good luck to you both in your senior year!

Jordan ~ Class of 2019

Last week I spent the evening with Jordan and her mom.  We had such a great time!  Jordan is just beautiful inside and out, she is the sweetest girl.  Jordan is currently playing volleyball, softball and is a senior homecoming attendant at her school.  Jordan brought some special props to her session, my favorite was her bible.   I asked her to open her bible to her favorite verse which she has highlighted.  “Romans 5:8 KJV
But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Jordan has plans to be an elementary school teacher, she will no doubt be an amazing teacher!  Good luck to you this year Jordan!!

McKinley ~ Class of 2019

“Psalm 139:14 You are beautiful, you are fearfully and wonderfully made.”

A few weeks ago I had the absolute pleasure of spending an evening with McKinley and her wonderful family, including her precious dog Trigger.  McKinley has an amazing personality, million dollar smile and was a joy to work with.

McKinley is a cheerleader, and plans to go to nursing school.  Good luck in your senior year of high school McKinley!!

I love spring and fall, they are my favorite seasons for portrait photography.  The flowers and changing leaves create beautiful backdrops for portraits outdoors.  But lets face it, photographers schedules book up fast in these seasons and winter is equally beautiful for portraits.  Winter has the most glorious sunsets and snow!!  I never realized how beautiful winter really is until I started going out with my camera to shoot on winter days.  The photos above were taken last winter, how gorgeous would these be as a backdrop for senior portraits?

Winter sessions can be gorgeous, especially if it snows! How fun would it be to do a session with your favorite boots, hats, chunky sweater and coat with some hot cocoa? I even have an old fashioned sled that would make for some fun shots!  So think about doing a different season for your senior portraits and book one in the winter!  I took my daughter out for a winter session last year on a day that school was called off.  It was so much fun!

I am now booking winter sessions for 2018 as well as 2019 sessions for any season. August through November book very quickly, I only have a few spots left now through the end of October.
